Need to Know

Small parking lot at the trailhead off Crisman Hollow Road. The Forest Service reports that "Chrisman Hollow Road is closed to vehicles from February 1 to the Friday before the Youth Spring Turkey Season in April. The Trails remain open year round."

Description

The Scothorn Gap Trail follows old forest roads except for a portion around a pond. The trail ascends to wildlife clearings, skirts a beaver pond, and heads north toward Gap Creek Trail and Strickler Knob.
