Description

The Gibraltar Bay Nature Area is owned and managed by the Fish & Wildlife Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge. This trail offers views of the natural wetland ecosystem, views for birders, nature observation, and primitive kayak launch. Trail is mostly compacted dirt and cut grass.

Flora & Fauna

Animals: Deer, owls, hawks, muskrats, turtles, and fish
Plants: Cattails, prairie grass, water lilies
