Need to Know

There is a portable toilet at the Parks and Rec building at the south end of the trail.

Description

The trail drops about 80 feet into the canyon from either the north or south ends. Both access points have dirt parking lots where you can park. The parking lot on the south side has a portable toilet, while the one on the north has no amenities. The trail winds its way along the creek, and sometimes there are nice park benches and picnic tables next to the path to provide people with a place to rest and enjoy the atmosphere. Sections of the canyon can smell bad because of industrial sites and sewage pipes which sometimes are near the creek.

Flora & Fauna

Ducks, hawks, songbirds, rabbits, stray cats
