Overview

This loop combines two trails for some great, rolling singletrack trails through NE Ohio hardwood forest with other trails and adequate connectors to expand the trail to increase the mileage.

Need to Know

Parking can be challenging on weekends and after work.

Description

The hike starts at a parking area just off of 71 and 82/Royalton Rd.

The Yellow Trail quickly splits off to the left shortly after the parking area. The trail is a mountain bike trail that meanders through young forests and passes by an old foundation and chimney. Enjoy gentle climbs and beautiful creek views. The trail is well marked and easy to follow.

After 3.7 miles, the Yellow Trail connects with the Sugarbush Trail or continues around to the Red Trail. This allows for an even longer loop via the Red - Sugar Bush Connector Trail.

For this loop, hang a right on the Sugar Bush Loop Trail and follow it 1.8 miles back to the parking area.

Very muddy trail in early June. The trail maps on this app don't correspond well to how the trails are marked. There are undefined markings on trail
