Features River/Creek

This trail peters out on private land at the Forest Service boundary. There is a locked gate and you need permission from the landowner to access the neighborhood end of the trail.

Description

Off of the Kirk Hill Trail #428, head down on a long ago overgrown logging road. After half a mile, the trail turns north and runs along the creek. Cross the creek on a good bridge and then cruise along until the trail dead-ends on private land. I followed the trail in the winter but I imagine the creek is quite pretty in the summer.

Beware of private landowner at private end of this trail and renter on their property. Extremely hostile and act as though National Forest is theirs. 2mi — 0h 45m
