The is a $7 day use fee and users need to check in at the main gate.

A well maintained loop trail in Alexander State Forest. This trail is marked with red painted blazes and skirts part of the Indian Creek Reservoir in central Louisiana. The trail is open to foot traffic, bikes and dogs on a leash. There is no camping or motorized vehicles allowed on the trail. There are no water sources on trail except the lake. The treadway is level and fairly smooth.
