Family Friendly Short, with a variety of things to see along the way.

Description

There are several ways to access Owen's Loop Trail atop the Red Hill. This one is definitely the shortest from a real trailhead, and adds some real variety to the red rocks of the rest of the trail, as it goes through a short riparian area that is lush by St. George standards.

Flora & Fauna

The pond at the beginning has fish and other wetlands life. Cottonwoods and other riparian life are in the ravine.
