The trail starts from a common fishing hole a the intersection of the Haw River and the Big Alamance Creek. Head upriver through the forest. Along the trail sections of rock head out into the waters. Soon you pass a parking lot with a big rock garden. After passing under a bridge you come to a pretty more secluded section of the river that eventually de-ends at a stream.
