There are restrooms at both the 32nd Street Trailhead and the Piestewa Trailhead. On weekend mornings, the lots at both ends fill up.

This trail links Mohave Trail #200 to Trail 8A, near the 32nd Street Trailhead. It is an easy hike, overlooking the mansions that are up against the mountain preserve.

The top of the trail begins at an intersection with Mohave Trail #200 near a pass above the Piestewa Peak Parking Area. From there, it heads down the valley, around the nose of the south ridge, before heading east towards 32nd Street.

The trail climbs over one small pass just before dropping down and ending at the intersection at Trail 8A. From there, you can head right to the 32nd Street Trailhead, or left to continue a 4.0 mile loop via several trails, including 8A, 8B, and 304.

You'll find Saguaro and barrel cactus, as well as cholla. Be aware for rattlesnakes and scorpions.
