Description
This trail starts from a split with the
Aqueduct Trail, and quickly switches back and starts heading east, toward Ghost Falls. The trail starts out relatively flat, but after about 0.4 miles, the trail starts to steepen up, until it hits a small crest about 0.2 miles later. After hitting this crest, the trail descends as it heads toward Ghost Falls, and then the trail passes right by the falls over a small bridge, about 0.75 miles from the start of the trail. The waterfall can be somewhat hard to see at times, since during the summer the vegetation grows in pretty thick and during the fall sometimes the flow isn't very large, but when you time it right, it is a pretty little waterfall.
After passing the waterfall, the trail starts to head up towards the
Jacob's Ladder Trail via a series of long switchbacks, which aren't too bad for ascending, and are really fun for descending. After 1.25 miles, the trail goes right by a spur to the
Jacob's Ladder Trail, and continues on, paralleling the road, until it meets up with the road right by the beginning of the
Jacob's Ladder Trail.
