Description

The town of Rush now stands as a ghost town of its former self. The ruins here provide a unique snapshot of life in an Ozarks 1800's boomtown. Several old mining-related houses still stand near the parking lot. Along this interpretative trail, you'll find several signs detailing the rise and fall of Rush and the surrounding mining community. This easy trail loops around the bluff past a number of old mine entrances, now gated due to instability. Several good views of the Buffalo River can be found along the way.
