Multiple access points.
Description
This trail has numerous access points and allows for free parking along almost all neighboring streets. It has many trees planted along the way, and, depending on the season and time of day, it is fairly shaded. Though it is a city park, there are no lights along the trail, except around the community center.
The lower portion of the trail is fairly flat. It has numerous seating opportunitiesd and at least three water fountains placed conveniently for the public and their pets. There are more trail options than the mapped ones, including an unpaved path through the maze and farther on. It passes the community center, shaded picnic tables, and large green spaces that invite kids to play soccer.
The upper portion of the creek is more hilly and only has one water fountain, accessible by the playground in an adjacent park. The upper portion alone is about 1.6 miles in length and is a great place for shorter but scalable midweek hikes.
