Center Loop Trail forms a loop that starts and ends at a major trail junction, complete with a large trail map sign, deep in the wooded center of Turtleback Mountain Preserve. Several trails from both the north and south entrances to the preserve, lead to Center Loop Trail. Check trail maps to plan your hike on Center Loop Trail.
Description
Center Loop Trail is entirely in the beautiful woods.
Starting from a major trail junction in the center of Turtleback Mountain Preserve, Center Loop Trail climbs gradually through the woods to the 0.55 mile mark and
Raven Ridge Trail. Go left here to continue on Center Loop Trail. After passing
Raven Ridge Trail, Center Loop Trail is flat for the next 0.35 miles as it winds along the south hillside of Turtleback Mountain. Then, at the 0.9 mile mark, on the right,
Raven Ridge Trail rejoins Center Loop Trail. Go left here to to descend and complete Center Loop Trail by returning to the major trail junction with the large trail map sign.
