Description

Note that the trailhead sign for the Priest Gulch Cutoff is badly worn. Similarly, the trail was quite overgrown this year (2019) but is easy to follow.

Flora & Fauna

The Cutoff begins in a grassy meadow and climbs through a spruce-aspen forest, heading towards Calico South Trail #211. This intersection of Calico South Trail #211 also begins in a grassy meadow, and has spruce, aspen and ponderosa pine.
