Description

Starting from the north, this singletrack trail heads along a steep, rocky ridgeline, with some especially steep climbs with wooden posts to help you climb up. Otherwise, this trail overall trends downward, and eventually opens up into expansive views. Keep an eye on St. Helens to your right, as you'll see a shifting view of the less-traveled side of the volcano. This trail makes a great one-way downhill trip from Windy Ridge to Loowit #216: Ape Canyon - Windy (the trip to drive around for a point-to-point is about 2 hours).
