The trail starts where the White Trail ends, and takes you out onto a narrow, quarter mile long peninsula sticking out into the middle of Lake McCormack. It's wooded throughout until the very end, with some short spurs going down to benches with views of the lake along the way. The best views of the lake will come at the end of the trail when it reaches the tip of the peninsula.
