Family Friendly
A wide, easily navigable trail with easy, slight elevation changes. Most creeks/soggy areas have bridges. The trail is signed with interesting facts about history, Ohio prairies, and the local flora.
Need to Know
Small parking lot with maintenance buildings but no restrooms or buildings open to the public.
Description
This is a very wide, easy-to-follow trail. The sections through the prairies are the width of a large riding mower. Most water crossings have bridges, but there is one that you might need to hop across depending on how recently it rained. There are some sections that get soggy after a rain. There are a few small changes in elevation and places where it actually starts to feel like a trail, but most of it is very wide and very well maintained and easy to traverse.
The trail has signs describing the flora and history, as well as signs periodically to help keep you on the trail.
Flora & Fauna
I personally saw some white tail, bluejays and other birds, frogs, a fox, some squirrels among all the other flora.
