Description
West
Tiger Creek Trail is the lower and northern end of a trail that at one time connected to the upper Tiger Ridge Trail #3324. A storm in the late 1990's washed out the connecting route up the steep slopes to the south. The BMLT Blues Crew works each spring to clear the trail of brush, and fallen trees on the trail. The trail ends abruptly about 1 1/2 miles at the site of a large rock slide. Early spring water flow often makes access to the trail beyon the first 1/4 mile difficult. Generally, by mid-June the entire trail is accessible. It is a great trails for kids.
Flora & Fauna
This trail is a good example of the forest of the lower Blue Mountains.
