Description
Begin at the North Grove Trails Trailhead. Start your hike along the
Sunset Trail, and follow the trail signs to the
Dead Giant Loop. The beginning of the trail is paved, but is mostly dusty dirt or sand. When you get to the
Dead Giant Loop you'll notice there are two trails; you can take either one as you'll return on the other. This loop is on the western-most side of the park and offers views of Sequoia Lake outside the park. It's fun to see the unique features of each giant sequoia. Stay alert for wildlife.
