This trail was funded through the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) funding.
Description
The northern section of the trail runs from Heritage Park south to the Remington Nature Center. This section of the trail intersects with the French Bottoms boat ramp, a boat dock area, and two shelters.
The south section of this trail runs from Remington Nature Center to the Downtown Riverfront Park. This beautiful and scenic trail is a 10’ wide concrete paved trail that follows the Missouri River. A scenic overlook can be accessed on this trail for breath taking views of the river.
