Description
The Buriti Trail is one of the four trails that has been fully marked at the Floresta Nacional de Brasilia (Brasilia National Forest or FLONA), DF, Brazil. It has several different micro regions and vegetation such as cerrado (native vegetation of midwest Brazil), Pinus and Eucalyptus forest, and "mata de galeria"(a dense cerrado vegetation that encompass a small body of water).
Flora & Fauna
Very diverse flora with exotic species (Pinus and Eucalyptus) and native cerrado. Expect to see the Carcara (the eagle of cerrado).
