Description

This trail starts at the bottom of Old Mountain Road and runs south to Route 113. Follow the yellow plastic diamonds. It passes the Prescott Trail (on the right) then a small cemetery (also on the right). The trail roughly follows the old road, except where it has been washed out and the trail was pulled up to the edges. It comes out to a more open area and passes Lovers Lane (on the left). The trail follows the old highway through a very eroded area and skirts around through the woods. It ends abruptly at Route 113, at the base of someone's driveway. The trail isn't signed at this end, so it would be best to start from the north end.

Hike south on Route 113 for a short distance to reach the Cotton Mountain Trail parking.
