Overview
This is a good distance loop with plenty of lookouts, technical side trails, and other features that draw your attention. There are places of technical footing and nice rolling climbs and descents.
Description
Start on the Bruce Trail from the Duncan parking lot.
The trail can be done in either direction. Choose to either start on the Bruce Trail at the first junction or take the blue-marked side trail.
Stay on the blue side trails and white-marked Bruce Trail throughout. There are orange marked trails within the area too. The side trail first takes you across to Metcalf cliff, up beside the cliff, across the top, and down the other side. The descent can be through a canyon with caves and crevices on a very technical trail, or you can skip this and stay on the main trail to descend around.
Remain on the blue side trail to cross back to the Duncan Escarpment and Pinnacle Rock. Follow the Bruce Trail back to the Duncan parking lot, but make sure to take in the view on the return.
