Description

The start of this is switchbacks followed by a bit of a scramble to a wonderful overlook of Bair Canyon on top of a big rock. This is not a bad place to turn around after watching the sunset. Alternatively, the trail really does continue, but in recent years, has become so overgrown, that it is extremely difficult to follow. The last time I did it, it turned into a horrible bushwhack racing against dwindling light. Once you find the old jeep road, though, it's easy-enough to follow all the way back to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, though it is still quite overgrown along this section.
