Description

This loop trail passes by some of the largest live oak trees in McAllister Park and feels like you are in a deep forest. You can forget you are in the seventh largest city in the country until a biker rides by or a plane flies overhead. It is very well marked, but pay close attention to the signs to stay on the trail because there are many side paths that cross the main trail. These side paths can be used to create smaller loops and access the trail from the surrounding neighborhoods.

Flora & Fauna
