Hikers will enjoy great views onto Puez Plateau and onto Langkofel and Plattkofel.

There is one short and exposed ridge that is secured with steel ropes; otherwise the hike is on easy and well-marked trails. Some trails are steep in places.

The ascent to Regensburgerhütte is mainly on gravel roads which are steep, but easy. From then on, you are hiking on trails until you get back to the Langenal.

There is a steep ascent between Regensburgerhütte and Forces de Sieles; from there onwards, you are hiking on an exposed ridge, which is secured with steel ropes. This is where the scenic part of the hike begins! Once you reach the top of the ridge, you're back to normal trails for the rest of the hike.

Climb up and down to Puezhütte while enjoying beautiful views across the Puez Plateau and of the surrounding Dolomite Mountains. Puezhütte is a great place for a snack and to refill your water bottles.

From there, it is a steep descent on switchbacks down into the Langental. Once you reach the bottom, you're back on gravel roads, shortly before ending in Wolkenstein on an even tar road.
