Need to Know

This is a non-system trail that does not meet trail standards.

Description

At the bottom of this connector there is a trail sign indicating the route. When you first start up it, it's just a gully, but pretty soon it turns into a trail.

The top is just north of the Jones Peak saddle.

This connector is useful, for example, if you want to do Wilson as a loop from Bailey Canyon, and you need to get back to the other side of the ridge in order to get back to your car. It's an alternative to hiking about a mile on city streets to get from one trailhead to the other.

This trail is sometimes referred to as "Hiker Bob Trail". It was built without permission and does not meet trail standards. Expect rough conditions and minimal maintenance.
