Description
Please refer to the Ossipee Valley Snowmobile Club map for this section; maps can be purchased on the club's website or at Canoe King (Tamworth, NH).
This portion of Corridor #19 starts off the White Mountain Highway (Route 16), just north of Aubuchon Hardware. It weaves through the woods for 1.2 miles until it comes to the tracks and turns right. It follows the tracks for 1.7 more miles until it reaches Polly's Crossing; left will take you to Wolfeboro and right takes you out to Route 16. You'll pass
Archer's Pond Loop (on the left before a large marsh). In another 3.6 miles, you'll end up hiking through Center Ossipee.
At 9.3 miles, the trail crosses Route 16 and crosses a trestle bridge over Cold River.
Many food stops can be reached in West Ossipee via Corridor #15. From here, the trail loosely follows the tracks, with some parts completely off the tracks. It crosses Route 41 and stays right of the ambulance place. It passes by (OVSC) Junction 1 and a junction that leads to the SOSS trails. It parallels Route 41 and follows the west edge of Silver Lake until it ends near Ledge Pond.
For a continuation of Corridor #19, please refer to the Mountain
Mead Riders snowmobile map.
