Description
The well-worn trail is very easy to follow. It can be quite steep in some areas with loose rocks, so make sure of your footing if carting a heavy pack. The lake is beautiful and very cold! There can be snow here even in the first part of July so dress for colder conditions. This is a great trail for a day or two of backpacking in and camping! There are about 4 or 5 sites around the lake to camp at with rock circle fire pits. You can fish in the lake, and there are cut-throat.
