Description

This service road descends from the Mount Lukens Road #2N76 to a saddle where there is a junction with the Grizzly Flat Road #2N79 and the Dark Canyon Trail. It is mostly overgrown with ceanothus and non-native Spanish broom but generally wide enough for most trail users.

Flora & Fauna

Mostly chaparral species of scrub oak, ceanothus, chamise, manzanita. Some oak trees and non-native pines.
