Need to Know

Parking should be possible on Wedgewood Drive (which separates this and Saddle Hill Trail from the Rod & Gun Club.

Description

Sandwiched between roads, there is a surprising amount of rugged forest in this area. The trailhead sits back behind a low stone wall and some trees, so it can be easily missed.

From the start, the trail quickly becomes challenging with a steep technical section which requires scrambling. It evens out a bit then goes through an S curve. Towards its end, there are some serious rocks that make a reprise.

Flora & Fauna

Forest rodents, some deer tracks.
