George's Hollow Trail

This trail starts out somewhat gradually for a short section, but quickly starts to get steeper and rockier as the trail enters the drainage adjacent to George's Hollow. It then contours around the ridge and enters George's Hollow proper.

At this point, the trail follows up the George's Hollow drainage, which is generally dry. About 0.75 mile in, there is a turnoff for the Living Room, which is a popular destination where people have taken rocks and organized makeshift furniture out of them. After passing the turnoff for the Living Room, the trail continues to ascend the George's Hollow drainage, and this section can get pretty narrow and rocky, but is a pretty fun, somewhat technical descent.

The trail tops out at a saddle just below Red Butte, and from this saddle there are several options if you'd like to continue onto other trails and destinations (like Mount Wire), or you can return the way you came.
