Description

Dogwood starts off with a few quick creek crossings, then turns into a winding trail. There are a couple of great views of Pat Mayse Lake on the trail. Don't get too relaxed because the steepest climb at Barber Hills comes up quickly after the overlooks. The last part of the trail has a steep, root-covered downhill with a rock-covered creek bottom.
