Family Friendly The trail is not too difficult and has ample opportunities to cut the loop short by heading back along the Red Trail or the road. There are picnic tables and benches located along the trail.

Description

The Yellow Trail in Rifle Camp Park is an easy to moderate loop trail through a wooded park. The trail surface is mostly gravel paved, but has muddy patches after heavy rain. The park itself has five parking lots; I recommend parking in the last one as it provides easy access to the Yellow or Red trails.

The highlight of this trail is the great views of the New York City skyline.

Flora & Fauna

Plenty of deer. Some hawks and falcons.

Peripheral trail. Fences on the left (or right) for most of the trail. Young trees. Lots of open, sunny trail. Cruising spot? — 1h 56m
