Family Friendly A mix of terrain, slopes, and views makes this trail fun and still suitable for families.

Need to Know

Need to navigate over planks, tree trunks, and stones to be able to cross the swamp—this requires good balance!

Description

The trail starts pretty much straight and will continue with little slope until you get to the swamp. Here, depending on the season and time of the day, you have the best opportunity to encounter wildlife, and frogs are common. The swamp can be a lot of fun for kids as you might have to jump from stone to stone or balance over planks to not get wet.

The trail then goes fairly steadily up until reaching the summit where you can enjoy nice views of the valley. The top is rewarding and a great spot for lunch.

Fun trail but very muddy! Dog-friendly trail but be aware that your doggy will most likely be muddy at the end!
