This long hike is a great way to admire the views in the area.

Use the cableway from Ortisei to get to the start of the hike. This singletrack starts at the upper station of the Sekeda lift. A ribbon of crushed rock passes through a wide open, grassy meadow high up on the mountainside. You'll enjoy long range mountain views as you descend towards the rifugio Pieralongia (mountain hut) which you'll reach in no time.

Other than the moderate steepness, this trail presents no difficulty.
