Description

A gradual ascent/descent along the San Gabriel riverbed with views of mostly residential and industrial areas, and some parks and plant nurseries.

This is a perfect way for coastal residents to safely get to the base of the San Gabriels. From the path, one may connect to trails in Whittier (and from there connect to those in West Covina) or at the north trailhead in Azuza, connect to any series of trails in the San Gabriels.

Know that this path is locally known as dangerous at night due to homeless encampments, chop shops, etcetera.
