Description
Parking is available at the bottom of the trail with FREE parking.
This is a 2.8 mile round-trip intermediate hike. It features great views, tables towards the middle and top of trail, and a few challenges. The grade of the trails is generally friendly with a few steep parts that might be a little difficult for young children. There are a total of three viewpoints, at trail station 16 (Caribou Cabin), 20 (Grey Wolf), and 22 (
Silver Tip).
Flora & Fauna
Plants on trail include snow-berries, Douglas-Fir, Ponderosa Pine, Wild Roses. In the late spring and early summer, look for strawberry blossoms, lupine, and other wildflowers.
