Description

This trail starts at a boulder painted with a "no cars" sign, passes through Jaibalito, and ends at the ferry dock in Santa Cruz.

Most segments are quite flat but there are the occasional steps built into stone. The trail offers excellent vistas of the lake and volcanoes, and also a sampling of the housing along the lake's shoreline.

This is an excellent and fun hike to warm you up for more strenuous hikes, such as the one on the San Pedro Volcano.
