Features Swimming · Waterfall

Family Friendly Swimming and an easy trail along a creek. Waterfall with deep waters during summer.

Description

From the Springdale/South Entrance of Zion National Park, follow the road for about 1.5 miles to the Canyon Junction. At the junction, take a right toward the Zion - Mt. Carmel Highway. The road will be straight for a moment, and then it will start to make a U-curve up the mountain. At the beginning of this U-curve, there is a dirt pullout with a small sign. This is the trail to the Pine Creek Waterfall.

The Pine Creek Waterfall is not traveled frequently. Few folks know about it. The trail to Pine Creek Waterfall is flat and when you reach the waterfall there is an area to go into the water. Beware, there are some deep waters here.

Lower Pine Creek Waterfall

Beautiful unpromoted hidden gem in Zion. Description says flat hike, but we had to scale some pretty big rocks to get there. But it was DEFINITELY worth it.

Mostly social trail across some boulders to the pool and falls. Pool was full enough to use the water slide! (1/100) 1mi

Absolutely gorgeous hike with small swimming holes and even a little diving pool (~10ft deep). I will definitely be going back here. Great for fams! — 1h 30m
