Description

The trail is an old miner's route for gold in Perseverance Basin, and can be accessed at the end of Basin Road from downtown. The trail follows Gold Creek much of the way. There are great mountain views in all directions. The trail is steepest in the first 0.75 mile or so, and then is a more gradual uphill.

If it's not raining, consider yourself fortunate.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers, berries, marmots, bears.
