Description

Main Trail Loop 1 is the first of four loops that hikers can take to explore the grounds of Morton Arboretum. When hiking counterclockwise, the trail passes designated areas for rare plants, honeysuckles, viburnums, and magnolias before coming to Crowley Marsh at about the halfway point. The second half of the loop heads through gardens of non-native plants and trees from Korea, China, and Japan.
