We started with a perfect blue sky and a quick hike up from MBC. There were beautiful views of Fishtail behind us and Annapurna 1, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli in front. There is a little platform where the helicopters came and went with the non-hikers, and further up, a nice ridge where you can get a good view of the mountains as well as the “dirty glacier”. The hike down is gradual, if only a bit rocky, same way as up.
