In late 2018 there will be a split in the trail as the upper and lower lake will both have bridges over them.
Description
Along this trail you'll see the lake, enter the mostly hardwood forest, and get a view of the lake's headwaters at Sam's Creek. You return along this trail through the campground, so a great deal of this trail is paved.
Flora & Fauna
Oak, hickory, black squirrel, chipmunk, bluebird, and red-bellied woodpecker can all be seen here.
