DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multi-use, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for horses and cyclists. It is normally open in any weather although it can close during extended periods of freeze/thaw in the winter.

Description

Camp Summit Road starts off of Lake Julia Road near the intersection with Reasonover Creek and Lake View Loop. It climbs steadily to where it ends at Conservation Road. This trail, when linked with Lake Julia Road, offers an easier climbing route up to Airstrip Trail and avoids the brutal climb on Conservation Road.
