Need to Know

It's 375 feet down, and the same back up, in Death Valley. 'Nuff said.

Description

Starting from the parking lot, take the northernmost trail down—it is less steep and easier on the surrounding area. Once on the bottom make sure you look up, as the magnitude of this crater is pretty amazing to see! Take your time coming back up since the cinder is slick and can quickly sap your energy.
