Need to Know
There is a creek crossing at the end of this trail. It's shin deep, so we recommend you remove your shoes. Be sure to take a towel with you.
Description
This trail, along with the
Ranse Boyatt Farm Trail, make an out-and-back to a historic farm site. You can add it to other trails to make a loop if you'd like.
To start, park just past Terry's Cemetery and find the beginning of the trail on the northern side of the road. When you start on the trail it divides. Take the one on the left with the metal bar gate. From here, the trail is wide, rocky, and can be a little muddy in the spring.
At about one mile in, there is a river crossing. In the spring it was shin high. It's best to take off your shoes to cross.
After you cross the river, you'll reach a fork in the trail: to continue on the
Ranse Boyatt Farm Trail, go left. (On the right is the JMT, which goes towards Maude's Crack, No Business, KY Trail, and the Big South Fork River.)

Flora & Fauna
We saw grass, small shrubs, berry bushes, and tall trees along the trail.
