Features Lake

Family Friendly This easy trail is close to the campground. There are a few ups and downs and a bridge to cross.

Description

The path takes hikers from the parking area across a creek via a short wooden bridge and splits to form a loop. Take the right way and continue through the woods going up and down the rocky, yet well-maintained footpath. Traverse alongside the lake and take a break to look out over Lake DeGray and the boats passing by. Some trees have fire scars and the ground has had a prescribed burn, but the dogwoods still bloom.

Flora & Fauna

Dogwoods, pines, oaks, and poison ivy are thriving here.
