Description

From the North Shore Trailhead, follow County Road 448A to the north across a bridge over a canal. Once over the canal, take the Yellow Blaze Trail past a gate to the left for a short distance before the Yellow Blaze Trail ends and the red blazes begin for the loop.

From here the trail leads through the forest and is well-marked with blazes. The trail is mostly cleared doubletrack with a few junctions and turns that are all well marked. For the most part the trail is surrounded with trees and does not offer views, but there are plenty of birds and other wildlife around.
