Need to Know
Dogs are to remain leashed when outside the gated dog park. Be sure clean up after your furry-friends, and be aware that wildlife such as rabbits, squirrels and deer are common in the park.
Description
Starting from the parking lot, you'll need to hike toward the paved loop behind the restrooms, bear right on the loop. Shortly after starting the loop you'll see a small post with a picture of a yellow duck and an arrow indicating the start of the Duck Pond Trail.
Follow this trail and you'll quickly come to you first fork, bear left. You'll descend section of stairs and soon after you'll pass a second fork that indicates the Turtle Trail; hike past this and keep hiking forward. The trail becomes sandy as it hugs the edge of Big Timber Creek. Follow trail until you you see on your left side, a set of two benches on either side of the trail. Go between those benches and you'll see a white arrow blazed on a tree indicating the trail bearing left. Follow the white arrow marks on trees until you reach the Duck Pond.
